A former field organizer for the Biden campaign released a tweet on Thursday following the Supreme Court affirmative action ruling where she claimed that “No Black person will be able to succeed in a merit-based system,” adding that because of that reasoning, affirmative action is needed.
In the landmark decision of Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College, the Supreme Court made a 6-3 decision against the longtime practice of affirmative action, per the DC Enquirer. It was decided that considering race in university admissions was unconstitutional under the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Erica Marsh was more than miffed about the decision, tweeting, “Today's Supreme Court decision is a direct attack on Black people. No Black person will be able to succeed in a merit-based system which is exactly why affirmative-action based programs were needed. Today's decision is a TRAVESTY!!!”

Of course, Twitter users very quickly caught on to the blatantly racist claims that were made in the tweet. Users immediately swarmed to the tweet, debating whether she was even a real person or simply a parody account.
Popular liberal YouTuber shoe0nhead replied, writing “either parody account or certified lib moment,” with another user responding to her noting how hard it can be to even tell the difference between the two.

The Hodge twins replied to the tweet, saying, “This is the most racist shit ever.”

Of course, rather than apologizing for her racist remarks and deleting the tweet, Marsh decided to double down and release another tweet explaining her original comments.
“Allow me to clarify this tweet, which is being manipulated for propaganda and misinformation by ULTRA MAGA. The intention of my tweet is to highlight that prior to affirmative action, there existed a supposedly merit-based system for Black individuals to gain admission to colleges,” she wrote. “However, these institutions employed racial profiling to prevent Black individuals from attending under the guise of this ‘merit’ system. I want to emphasize that my statement in no way suggests that Black individuals are less intelligent than people of other races.”

Of course, even with this tweet explaining her reasoning, Twitter users had no intent on ignoring the blatant racism of her earlier message.
The discussion around the tweet grew so much that people began to truly believe that the account was a bot account, noting how the user shared a name with a member of the popular TV show ‘One Tree Hill.’ A SportsKeeda article compiled many of the tweets and discussed the possibility of the account simply being a bot, but after reviewing the account it would seem that she is simply another ignorant liberal.
The tweet does a perfect job summarizing the racist savior complex that so many white liberals have. They will work so hard to argue that the system is designed to work against minorities that they will have to end up dragging down the minorities to support their points. The entire thought process is bizarre and flawed and it’s amazing just how far a fundamentally stupid thought process is ingrained into the left.
