WATCH: Vance, Walz Clash On School Shootings, Guns During Vice Presidential Debate

On Tuesday evening, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) took the stage at the vice presidential debate in New York City. Following a commercial break, the two vice presidential candidates clashed on the Second Amendment and the epidemic of school shootings.

"The gross majority, close to 90%, of the gun violence in this country is committed with illegally obtained firearms. We have to increase security in our schools. We have to increase school resource officers," Vance said.
