WATCH: Trump Slams Biden On Classified Document Scandal At CNN Town Hall, Defends His Possession Of Docs - 'I Had Every Right To Do It'

On Wednesday evening, 45th President Donald Trump sat down with CNN's Kaitlin Collins for a town hall in New Hampshire. During the town hall, Trump tackled January 6th, the 2020 election, and what Americans can expect for a second term.

One of the many topics that came up was Trump's possession of classified documents and the subsequent raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida last year.

Trump used the opportunity to not only defend his own record, saying that he had every right to be in possession of the documents while slamming Biden for possessing hundreds of boxes of documents.

"I had every right to under the Presidential Records Act," Trump explained in his defense. "You have the Presidential Records Act and I was there and I took what I took and it gets declassified."

The 45th president then turned to Biden where he said that the Democrat "has 1,850 boxes. He has boxes sent to Chinatown...Nobody talks about it when they talk about us."

"Just so you understand, I had every right to do it. I didn't make a secret of it. You know, the boxes were stationed right outside the White House," Trump added.

The former president then explained that you negotiate about getting documents declassified and he pointed out that the Presidential Records Act is "not criminal."
