WATCH: Take Our Border Back Trucker Convoy Heads To Southern Border To Demand Action

A large convoy of patriotic Americans is heading across the country to protest President Joe Biden's open border policies that have led to millions of illegal migrants crossing into the United States over the past three years. The Take Our Border Back convoy began on Monday in Virginia and drove overnight to Florida, where they rallied even more Americans for their cause.

The convoy gained traction in Jacksonville, Florida, and is now set to head through the southern United States on its way to Quemado, Texas, which is on the border in southwestern Texas. "To the naysayers: We're just ordinary citizens, farmers, ranchers, retired police officers. Not crazy conspiracy theorists," convoy organizer Kim Yeater explained. "It will be a peaceful assembly of Americans of all political classes and all ethnicities."

"We've got Canadian truckers, moms and dads," Yeater explained to the New York Post. "We've got motorcycles. If people could bring horses, they'd bring horses. I know the numbers we are looking at are 700,000. I think it'll possibly be bigger than that."

Yeater went on to explain that the organization is not against immigrants coming into the country but argued that the situation is becoming too untenable to justify its continuation. "We're all about safe, legal immigration by vetting the people coming in. I have moms [who will speak at the rallies Saturday] speaking of children who died from fentanyl," she said. "I have one [Agnes Gibboney] whose child was killed by an illegal immigrant who had crossed that border multiple times. She just left the cemetery [Monday] on what would have been his birthday."

The convoy is expected to branch off to multiple locations once it reaches Texas to rally with residents in communities across the US-Mexico border. The convoy's first stop is in Eagle Pass, Texas, where they are expected to hold a rally on February 2 at 5 PM and February 3 at noon. Eagle Pass has been the epicenter of the migrant crisis as hundreds of thousands cross through the small border town each year.

A second convoy will then be heading from Dripping Springs, Texas, to Yuma, Arizona, beginning February 1. The final rally in Yuma is expected to take place on February 3. However, a final location and time have not been set. Yuma, like Eagle Pass, has also repeatedly been overrun by illegal migrants attempting to enter the United States.

A third convoy will drive from San Ysidro, California, to Yuma, Arizona, on February 3. Before its departure, convoy participants will hold a rally in San Ysidro from 9-11 AM on February 3 before departing for Yuma and arriving for the rally later in the day.
