On Friday night, 45th President Donald Trump made a surprise visit to the House of Pizza in Fort Meyers, Florida where he could be seen handing out pizza to dozens of supporters following a speech he made earlier in the day.
Trump was accompanied by Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) after he spoke to the Lee County Republican Party’s Lincoln Reagan Dinner, as reported by Fox News Digital.
In the videos posted to social media, the crowd can be heard chanting “Trump” as the leading Republican candidate handed pizza to the crowd.
“Does anybody want a piece that I’ve eaten?” Trump can be heard saying to the crowd.
In addition to holding the impromptu pizza party, Trump also bought pizza for the entire Fort Meyers Police Department with the department writing on Facebook: “A nice gesture from Donald J. Trump before he departed, for our shifts out working tonight to include everyone working the former Presidential detail in Downtown Fort Myers. Some Downtown House of Pizza to go around.”

TRUMP DOMINATES BIDEN, ALL OTHER COMPETITORS IN IMPRESSIVE NEW 2024 POLL
As Trump continues to showcase his charisma and his ability to connect to the American people, his main Republican rival, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), has reportedly been struggling to make personal connections.
This can be most seen by the fact that eleven congressional Republicans from Florida have come out to support Trump for the Republican nomination while DeSantis only has one endorsement from his home state.
Trump’s ability to build relationships is perhaps one of his biggest strong suits. On Thursday evening, Trump hosted members of the Florida delegation for dinner at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump’s biggest strength is his connection to the American people and the more events that he does where he can show his genuine self and connect with the average American, the more he will dominate in the polls.
