WATCH: NYC Mayor Eric Adams Tells Marjorie Taylor Greene to ‘Control Yourself’ With Planned Protest of Trump Indictment

On Monday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) called on supporters of 45th President Donald Trump, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), to control themselves during a planned protest of Trump’s indictment on Tuesday.

“There will be some rabble-rousers thinking about coming to our city tomorrow, it is clear and simple: control yourselves,” Mayor Adams said during a press conference. “New York City is our home, not a playground for your misplaced anger.”

“We are the safest large city in America because we respect the rule of law in New York City,” the mayor claimed despite overseeing a massive surge in crime in recent years.

“Although we have no specific threats, people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is known to spread misinformation and hate speech, stated she is coming to town. While you are in town, be on your best behavior,” he demanded. “As always we will not allow violence or vandalism of any kind. If one is caught participating in any act of violence they will be arrested and held accountable no matter who you are.”

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the New York Young Republican Club will be hosting a protest on Tuesday morning in Manhattan with Greene in attendance.

JEB BUSH DECRIES ‘VERY POLITICAL’ WITCH HUNT OF DONALD TRUMP IN TWO-TIERED JUSTICE SYSTEM

“New York put your MAGA hats on. Under our constitutional rights, we WILL support President Trump and protest the tyrants,” the congresswoman wrote on Friday. “I’ll see you on Tuesday.”

“Protesting is a constitutional right and I am going to NY on Tuesday to protest this unprecedented abuse of our justice system and election interference,” Greene explained. “I also reject any attempt and anyone who dresses in MAGA but incites violence or commits violence while pretending to be one of us. You are not one of us, you are one of them.”

“We will not live in fear and we will lawfully stand against tyranny and corruption while we show our support for President Trump,” she added.

With President Trump traveling to New York City on Monday and heading to the courthouse Tuesday morning, he will have supporters out in force throughout his journey to face the judge for his arraignment. Americans know that this is political persecution and a peaceful protest is going to show the country that the MAGA movement is behind President Trump.
