WATCH: MTG Vows To Force Washington To Realize The American People Support Trump: ‘Make Trump Speaker Of The House’

On Wednesday morning, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene told host of Real America’s Voice’s 'American Sunrise' Dr. Gina Loudon that she is going to “force” Washington, D.C. to realize the American people to support leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump.

“Here’s the deal. Now that we have an opportunity to elect a new speaker, I’m going to force Washington to realize and remember that the American people support President Trump,” MTG said.

“He is winning the primary overwhelmingly. No one’s even close to him. He’s also beating Joe Biden in poll after poll. He has a proven four-year record as President of having the greatest policies in my lifetime,” she added.

“We want him back as President so why not make him Speaker of the House? Even if it’s an interim speaker, while we work to find another speaker. I think the house should support it. I think every Republican should support President Trump because he has supported them,” she continued.

“President Trump endorses more Republican candidates across the country than anyone else. And his endorsements win and they work,” she said.

“The only way to earn my vote is to beat President Trump and match his policies,” she added.

On Wednesday, President Trump took his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, and posted a photoshopped photo of himself as speaker of the House amid a scramble to get a new Republican leader.

This came after now ex-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was ousted on Tuesday after Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and his allies successfully removed him. McCarthy has made history as the first House speaker ever to be fired from his post.

Earlier on Wednesday, after sitting in court for his New York fraud case, Trump spoke to reporters outside of the courtroom and didn’t rule out being speaker of the House.
