During a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, actress, and singer Barbara Streisand told the CBS host that if leading Republican presidential contender and 45th President Donald J. Trump gets elected in 2024, she can no longer abide in the United States of America -- the freest country on God's green earth.
"Well, I like Biden. I think he's done a good job. I think he's compassionate. He's smart. He supports the right things," Streisand began, weighing in on the current political climate of America. Of course, her assessment of Joe Biden is precisely the opposite of the truth. Biden has done a terrible job, and he is only compassionate to those on the radical left. Indeed, his competency is doubtful, and he supports all the wrong things. As such, when Streisand was asked about the prospect of another Trump Administration, in a predictable fashion, she told Colbert, "I will leave. I can't live in this country if he became president." When Colbert pressed her on where she would go, Streisand said England was the most likely option. Streisand also said she would leave America in 2016 during an appearance on the Australian version of 60 Minutes, during which she said, "He has no facts. I don't know, I can't believe it. I'm either coming to your country, if you'll let me in, or Canada."
Unfortunately for Streisand, Trump has managed to be a unifying figure for Republicans, and voters are rallying around the 45th president in record numbers. As such, Trump is in as strong of a position with Republican voters as ever. Truly, Trump remains a potent force to win the presidency in 2024. The Real Clear Politics polling average has Trump besting Biden in nationwide polling in recent weeks, and this is despite the fact that Republicans can generally afford to underperform in the popular vote while still winning the election -- as they did in 2000 and 2016. As such, it stands to reason that the radical, far-left Democrats would use any means necessary to gain a much-needed political advantage -- including indicting their most likely political opponent.
Trump's dominance is impressive indeed. Patriots all over the nation must rally behind the eventual Republican nominee as conservatives try to undo the damage caused by the Biden administration. While Streisand can't understand the pull of the America First agenda, conservatives all over the nation love and cherish the contributions Donald J. Trump has made to the United States of America.
