WATCH: AOC Whines About The Supreme Court Decisions Being Unfair, Says 'Impeachment' Is 'On The Table'

On Sunday, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) stated her hope for her fellow Democratic colleagues to reign in the power of the Supreme Court after it made numerous decisions against her liberal viewpoints.

The female representative spoke on CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ where she shared her controversial viewpoints on changing the court.

“We have justices saying that the Supreme Court is going themselves much too far. They are expanding their role into acting as though they are Congress itself,” she claimed. “And that, I believe, is an expansion of powers that we really must be focusing on: the danger of this court and the abuse of power in this court, particularly as it is related to entanglements around conflict of interest.”

The claims from AOC are nothing new as many have been calling for power limits on the Supreme Court for a long time but especially since the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health case that overturned federal protection on abortion rights.

“These are the types of rulings that signal a dangerous creep towards authoritarianism and centralization of power in the court,” she added. She even talked about the possibility of impeaching some of the justices.

“There also must be impeachment on the table. We have a broad level of tools to deal with this conduct, overreach, and abuse of power,” the radical liberal said. “And the Supreme Court has not been receiving the adequate oversight necessary in order to preserve their own legitimacy.”

Her claims attempt to push an alarmist agenda, where the Republican party will use the courts to unilaterally reign over the United States despite that being entirely impossible. The decisions by the courts in no way extended their overreach and if anything simply limit or expand the overreach of other branches of government.

The student loan forgiveness case is simply that Biden does not have the power to issue a federal order for student loan forgiveness and instead that Congress itself would need to be responsible for passing such a law, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer

The affirmative action case falls exactly within the lines of the court's jurisdiction as they have time and again been responsible for presiding over cases that relate to racism in education and in places of work. If anyone were to claim they don’t have the authority over the most recent case, then they also wouldn’t have had the authority in such landmark cases like Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka and Loving v. Virginia, both of which have done major work to end racism in America.

The words of AOC are simply those of someone upset that they lost. She is only hoping that Congress itself can overreach its power to block the courts from presiding over things within their own jurisdiction. The bureaucratic rules that the court blocked could be made into laws by AOC given her role as a congresswoman, but instead, she is attempting to wean power from another branch. She has no respect for the system and every intent to destroy it to get her and her extremist liberal way.
