Trump Praises Ramaswamy for Strong Polling At Pence & DeSantis' Expense - 'He Is Doing So Well'

In a statement released Friday, Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States and top-polling 2024 GOP candidate, offered congratulations to fellow Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy for his impressive rise in the polls.

In the statementTrump wrote,

"I am pleased to see that Vivek Ramaswamy is doing so well in the most recent Republican Primary Poll, CBS YouGov. He is tied with Mike Pence, and seems to be on his way to catching Ron DeSanctimonious. The thing I like about Vivek is that he only has good things to say about “President Trump,” and all that the Trump Administration has so successfully done—This is the reason he is doing so well. In any event, good luck to all of them, they will need it!"

According to RealClearPolitics, the RCP average for the 2024 GOP primary currently sits with Trump at 52.1% followed by Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) at 22.9%, former Vice-President Mike Pence at 5.4%, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley at 3.9%, and Ramaswamy at 2.6%.
The more favorable polling Trump referred to is likely the most recent from CBS News which notably shows Ramaswamy outperforming Haley and rivaling Pence at 5%.
Ramaswamy has gained increasing notoriety for his successful ad campaigns, his recent calls for Trump not to skip participating in upcoming GOP debates, and his criticism of the Democratic National Committee for announcing it will not stage debates.

He observed, "This is pathetic. It’s too bad for the country when the Establishment hides from debate."
