'Totally Desperate': Vice President Kamala Harris Makes Absurd 'Anti-American' Proposals To Appeal To Black Men As She Slip In The Polls

On Monday, Vice President Kamala Harris revealed her "Opportunity Agenda for Black Men" as she attempts to bring the key demographic back into ranks amid polling showing 45th President Donald Trump gaining ground among the historically Democrat-dominated voting block. The agenda items, however, seemed to be a list of either blatantly unconstitutional actions or confusing policy proposals that were deemed by many to be a last-ditch effort to shore up support with the black community.

In a post on X, Vice President Harris wrote, "Black men deserve a president who cares about making their lives better." Attached to the post was a series of proposals that included various handouts. The proposals include,

• "Provide 1 million loans that are fully forgivable up to $20k for Black entrepreneurs and others to start a business
• Support education training, and mentorship programs that lead to good-paying jobs for Black men, including pathways to become teachers
• Protect cryptocurrency investments so Black men who make them know their money is safe
• Launch a national health initiative focused on the illnesses that disproportionately impact Black men
• Legalize recreational marijuana and create opportunities for Black Americans to succeed in this new industry"

The proposals from the Harris-Walz campaign were mercilessly mocked by conservative commentators online with Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh, writing, "So, just to be clear, if a white entrepreneur applies for this loan they will be turned down on the basis of their skin color? That is obviously completely unconstitutional. Not even close to legal." Ryan James Girdusky explained that similar policies were proposed in crumbling nations like Venezuela. "1) this is completely unconstitutional 2) she’s totally desperate 3) this is the beginning of the same kind of race-based politics that ruined South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Venezuela."

"1 million fully forgiveable loans of up to $20k based soley on the color of your skin?" the X account Geiger Capital wrote. "This is anti-American and evil." Palantir founder Joe Lonsdale pointed out Harris' contradictions on the protection of cryptocurrencies, writing, "Kamala has continued to attack crypto, with appointments and policy: authoritarians hate liberty and distributed systems. Her white staffers see falling poll numbers, and think black men into crypto are gullible enough to fall for this 'policy'! Which side is actually racist?"
 

The proposals from Vice President Harris show just how desperate she is amid sliding poll numbers and a failing presidential campaign. The Harris-Walz ticket has been struggling to maintain support from the African American community, particularly amongst black men who are flocking to Donald Trump.

On Monday, CNN's Senior Data Reporter Harry Enten explained that Trump is winning historic support from the black community. "No matter how you splice the data, Trump seems to be the strongest Republican with Black voters since 1960. Young Black men, in particular, have trended right during Trump's runs (cutting the Dem margin by 40 pts from 2012)," he wrote on X. "But Trump's doing historically well with Black women too."

The vulnerability from the most consistently Democratic-leaning constituencies in the country has put Democrats on the defensive, so much so that former President Barack Obama chastised black men for abandoning Harris. The 44th president explained at a campaign field office in Pittsburgh last week that "all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities" weren't enthusiastic enough for the Harris-Walz ticket. He stated that the problem "seems to be more pronounced with the brothers," who come "up with all kinds of reasons and excuses."

"You just aren't feeling the idea of having a woman as president," Obama added.​​​​​
