On Monday, Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick (R-TX) sat down for an interview with Fox News to discuss President Biden's "cold-hearted" policies at the southern border that have led to millions of illegal migrants entering the country under his administration's watch.
As reported by Fox News, Patrick joined 'Fox & Friends' to discuss Texas' busing of migrants to sanctuary cities across the United States including Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and most notably New York City.
"These two mayors talk about their issues and their problems. What do they think we deal with in Texas every day since the inauguration of Joe Biden," Patrick said in reference to NYC Mayor Eric Adams (D) and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D). "Every day, no matter what happens, thousands and thousands cross our border."
Texas' busing program has already led to over 21,000 migrants voluntarily heading to Democrat-run sanctuary cities across the country as residents in New York and Chicago openly protest the thousands of illegal migrants who are taking up resources and housing.
"Cry me a river, the mayor of New York and LA. I thought you were sanctuary cities. I thought you want them. Guess not," the lieutenant governor added.
"If it weren't for the 4 billion we just put in our new budget, 4 billion, that's bigger than some state's entire budget to protect our own border, which, by the way, if you stretched it out, 1,200 miles, would go from Atlanta to Maine," Patrick continued. "That's how much we have to protect because this president is not. We deal with it every day."
"This president is one cold-hearted SOB. I don't curse, that's son of a biscuit. But when you don't care about your own citizens dying of fentanyl. When you don't care about a humanitarian crisis of women and children coming to this country, being raped and put into indentured servitude, when you don't care about law enforcement on the street having to deal with criminal gangs and losing their lives, this is one cold-hearted president. He doesn't care."
As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the state of Texas has been taking drastic measures to attempt to secure the border via Operation Lone Star. The state has deployed thousands of Texas National Guardsman to the border alongside barbed wire and fencing. Most notably, Gov. Abbott (R-TX) deployed orange buoys in the Rio Grande to stop migrants from crossing the dangerous river.
"They don't like the buoys we put in the water. Guess what, we put them in to save people from drowning, drownings are down," the Texas official explained in reference to the Biden DOJ's recent lawsuit against Texas to stop the deployment of the buoys. "This president doesn't care about anyone. Total socialist, Marxist government, they say they care about everyone, but they care about no one. They don't care if people die to achieve their political purpose."
