In Turnaround, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Calls For Investigation Into Biden's Corruption

On Sunday, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (D) changed his opinion on an investigation into the Biden family, now calling for an investigation to look into the potential corruption that the president has done during his time in politics. 

Kennedy has previously pushed back on the idea of investigating the president. However, upon seeing the FBI informant report released by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) that alleges Joe Biden’s involvement in a $10 million bribery scandal with Ukrainian company Burisma that employed his son, Kennedy changed his tune. 

“I have avoided criticizing the president because I’m trying to bring people together and end some of the vitriol, the poison that’s made politics so poisonous,” the Democrat said on Fox News ‘Sunday Morning Futures’ with host Maria Bartiromo. 

“I think though the issues that are now coming up are worrying enough that we really need a real investigation of what happened,” he continued. “I mean, these revelations where you have Burisma — which is a notoriously corrupt company that paid out apparently $10 million to Hunter and his dad — if that’s true, then it is really troubling.”

“I think that that’s something that every American needs to worry about and our federal agencies, which used to be above politics, and now become weaponized as political instruments, and that, again, is another really damaging trend for our democracy,” he noted. 

Kennedy recently testified before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government about the immense censorship that took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, per the DC Enquirer. During his discussion, he attacked the federal government's uses of censorship but notably avoided attacking just Biden, also noting that the Trump administration had censored him over his statements. 

For someone who pushes for political unity and fights fervently against attacking one’s political opponents, RFK calling for an investigation into Biden shows just how damning the case against the president is. It seems like new evidence comes out every day further connecting Biden with illegal foreign business dealings. Perhaps it was only a matter of time before even Kennedy had to change his tune.
