WATCH: RFK Shuts Down Attackers On His 'Anti-Vaccine' Stance In Heated Exchange - 'It's A Way Of Silencing Me'

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cleared any misconceptions about his vaccination policy, shutting down cornering questions being deceptively used to debase the controversial politician.

The nephew of former President John F. Kennedy has drawn criticism from all corners of America for his supposed anti-vaccine take, having been restricted numerous times online for it. The attorney was even suspended from Meta-owned Instagram for making multiple posts questioning the validity of the COVID-19 vaccine during peak COVID insanity, per DC Enquirer

Many Democrats have hoped to use his questioning of the pharmaceutical industry as a way to prevent the populist candidate from gaining notable support. News Nation town hall host Elizabeth Vargas questioned the presidential candidate on his vaccination stance, claiming that “nearly every scientific and medical organization, including the CDC, the FDA, the AMA, the American Academy of Pediatrics, all say you’re wrong on this issue.”

Vargas then attempted to transition into an audience question but Kennedy quickly intervened to question the phrasing of the inquiry, having Vargas clarify that it was about whether childhood vaccines have the potential to cause autism.

The audience member was then able to ask RFK their question, claiming that his stance was “dangerous to the health and wellbeing of millions,” citing medical experts on the case. He finished by asking how people could “help [RFK] come to the side of science?”

Kennedy then discussed how most people are confused about his official stance on vaccines, clarifying that he is not anti-vaccine. He instead states that he only wants vaccines to be vetted the same way that other pharmaceuticals are, recounting a story on how a government official was unable to provide a report that proved any pediatric vaccine that is recommended had undergone a proper trial.

The presidential candidate also noted that many foreign nations don’t recommend vaccinations that are recommended in America, specifically citing the chickenpox vaccine not being recommended in England due to it having links to shingles later in life.

He further explained the risks of not doing long-scale studies on vaccination. He noted how vaccines are just like other drugs and can have side effects that aren’t known until proper studies take place.

The crowd member that asked the question then attempted to argue for his side, claiming that there was evidence for clinical trials. He also argued that there is a difference between association and causation, attempting to discredit Kennedy’s earlier examples.

Kennedy and the crowd member reached some understanding that vaccination was important, but Kennedy also explained how the market around vaccination has drastically changed since the passing of the Vaccine Act in 1988.

“When I was a kid there were only three vaccines. I was compliant, but when we passed the Vaccine Act, it made vaccines very, very valuable, and all of the sudden it was a gold rush to add a lot of new vaccines to the schedule for diseases that aren’t even casually contagious,” he noted.

Kennedy went in on the pharmaceutical bigwigs, noting how the four companies that make vaccines have had to pay massive amounts in criminal penalties for lying about their products. The presidential candidate stated that “we need to keep an eye on them,” explaining that skepticism is necessary when dealing with corrupt vaccination companies.

The question turned out to be invaluable to Kennedy by allowing him a proper opportunity to explain his position and defend what has been one of his most attackable points. When given the proper chance, his so-called ‘anti-vaccination’ stance stops being seen as extremist and instead is shown as one that is simply concerned with the morality of injecting untested products into infants' developing bodies.
