'Be Vigilant': Parent Wins MASSIVE Lawsuit After Public School 'Socially Transitioned' Her Daughter Without Her Knowledge

A California school district had to pay out a massive amount of money to Jessica Konen, a parent whose 11-year-old daughter was “socially transitioned” without her knowledge or consent, a growing trend in many public schools.

Konen’s daughter, Alicia, was encouraged by Spreckels Union School District to reconsider her gender identity, insisting that she didn’t know who she “truly was inside,” per Fox News. The school then permitted Alicia to be “socially transitioned” from her biological gender of female by using the boy’s bathroom and going by male pronouns.

Upon discovering that her daughter was identifying as male and the school was encouraging it without her knowledge, Konen sued the school district. She vowed that even after receiving the $100,000 settlement in the case she would continue to fight for parental rights in public education, something the Center for American Liberty, which represented her in the case, has been doing for a long while.

"They need to understand their place, and they need to stay in their place. And schools nowadays, they're awful. So, I'm going to fight this fight and keep fighting this fight," said Konen. "I am not going to allow this to keep happening to children. I feel that the fight has to continue.”

Konen said that she and her daughter had a difficult relationship for a while as she avoided using male pronouns, instead referring to her as “sweetie” and "kiddo.” Her daughter has since gone back to identifying as a biological female and their relationship has improved greatly.

"I think it took a lot of guts for both of us to be able to open up publicly and explain what is happening," Konen said. "Parents, be vigilant, you know, pay attention. Those gut feelings you have, they're real. I feel like this just opened doors."

“At its core, this case is about upholding the sacred bond between parents and their children," Executive Director of the Center for American Liberty Mark Trammel said about the case. "Parents have an inherent right to be involved in pivotal decisions concerning their children's lives."

"We definitely are going to be at peace and be able to try to move on from this,” Konen said. “But parents, pay attention, ask the questions that are offered. Put yourself in uncomfortable situations because you don't know what someone's going through. You don't know what they're teaching in schools anymore. Just be active in your kid’s lives and don't be scared to speak up."

The suit is a major victory for parents all over the United States but especially in California. Every day teachers and administrators overextend their reach and push their political views upon children in the ultimate abuse of power. No child deserves to go through the gender identity insanity that is being pushed, especially not 11-year-olds. Things need to change.
