Karine Jean-Pierre Shocks The Press After RIDICULOUS Claim In Response To AOC Blasting Biden's Weak Policies

On Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made the ridiculous claim that President Joe Biden has “done more” to secure the currently overran southern border and handle the unprecedented immigration issue “than anybody else."

The comment is seemingly in response to Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) telling The New York Times that the handling of the immigration crisis and the border by the Biden administration is its “weakest issue.”

"Immigration is arguably this administration’s weakest issue,” AOC told NYT. “This is one area where our policy is dictated by politics, arguably more so than almost any other."

"There are very clear recommendations and suggestions that we have made to the administration to provide relief on this issue, and it’s my belief that some of the hesitation around this has to do with a fear around just being seen as approving or providing permission structures, or really just the Republican narratives that have surrounded immigration," she said.

At the press meeting, Jean-Pierre said, "The president has done more to secure the border and to deal with this issue of immigration than anybody else. He really has!"

"Look, the president has done what he can from here, from the federal government, from the White House to put forth and manage our border in a safe and humane way to respect the dignity of every human, as he says all the time, and making sure that our communities are safe," she claimed, per Fox News.

Jean-Pierre went on to claim that the very “system is broken” and that rather than the problem stemming from allowing tens of thousands of migrants pour through the southern border every day unperturbed, it’s Republicans who “refuse to work with the White House” in “a bipartisan way.”

The press secretary was also questioned on why the president decided not to meet with Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) on Wednesday while her state is being completely overrun by migrants. As previously covered by the DC Enquirer, Hochul has had to declare a state of emergency for her state due to the massive amounts of migrants that have been bussed from the southern border. She has frequently called upon the Biden administration for help but has so far seen no public response.

Jean-Pierre claimed that Biden maintained a “very good relationship” with the governor of the Empire State after sending Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and his chief of staff to the Wednesday meeting.

"Look, the president has a lot of it on his plate. As you said, this is an important US important issue as well. But when you have the chief of staff, when you have the Secretary of Homeland Security, they're meeting with the governor, I think that shows how important the president thought meeting was to make sure he had his top people speaking with her as well," she responded to the question.

It’s unsure what world Jean-Pierre is currently residing in but it certainly isn’t Earth. For her to claim that Biden has done the most for the southern border while he is allowing it to be completely overrun is bizarre. There’s a certain level of tack and reason that needs to be had in the situation and as per usual the Biden administration completely lacks it.
