Judge Threatens To Kick Trump Out Of The Courtroom After Heated Exchange - 'I Would Love It!'

On Wednesday, leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump attended the first day of the damages trial in the defamation case brought by E. Jean Carroll. The case against Trump revolved around an alleged rape that occurred in a dressing room in the lingerie department on the sixth floor of Bergdorf Goodman on a Thursday evening in the spring of 1996.

President Trump has repeatedly denied the allegation, saying during his deposition, "It didn't happen. And by the way, if it did happen, it would have been reported within minutes. Talking about going to a major floor, probably I assumed the most important floor, a major floor in a major department store. That's a very busy store, by the way, checkout counters and everything else. And I would be in there– I mean, it's the most ridiculous. It's the most ridiculous, disgusting story that is just made up."

During the trial, E. Jean Carroll's lawyer complained about comments Trump was making during witness testimony, which led to Judge Kaplan berating the 45th president. "Mr. Trump has the right to be present here. That right can be forfeited and it can be forfeited if he is disruptive, which what has been reported to me consists of. And if he disregards court orders, Mr. Trump, I hope I don't have to consider excluding you from the trial. I understand you are very eager for me to do that."

"I would love it. I would love it," Trump commented. "I know you would because you just can't control yourself in this circumstance. You just can't," the judge said back in response, leading to Trump throwing his hands in the air, per NBC News.

Following this exchange, Trump took to Truth Social to criticize the judge for his "hostile" behavior. "I feel an obligation to be at every moment of this ridiculous trial because we have a seething and hostile Clinton-appointed Judge, Lewis Kaplan, who suffers from a major case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. In the first trial, with the same Judge, where I was asked not to go by my lawyers because it was 'beneath me as a former President of the United States,' he was reported to have been extraordinarily hostile to our side. But I should have gone, if for no other reason than to witness and speak up against the abuse carried out by this Judge. There was no way that case should have been lost! I was accused of something that I didn't do."

"Now, because I want to be at this Witch Hunt 100% of the time and watch what is going on, my attorneys asked the Judge for a one day delay so that I can attend the funeral of my beloved mother-in-law, with my wife and entire family, tomorrow in Palm Beach, Florida. The Judge, angrily, and somewhat surprisingly, said NO, you can go to the trial, or you can go to the funeral, but not both," Trump continued. "He is abusive, rude, and obviously not impartial but, that's the way this crooked system works!"
