However, rather than address his evident shortcomings as president of the United States, Joe Biden lashed out at his staffers in a truly bizarre spectacle. "Biden delivered some stern words for the small group assembled: His poll numbers were unacceptably low and he wanted to know what his team and his campaign were doing about it. He complained that his economic message had done little to move the ball, even as the economy was growing and unemployment was falling, according to people familiar with his comments, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a private conversation," the Washington Post reports.
The Washington Post continued, adding, "For months, the president and first lady Jill Biden have told aides and friends they are frustrated by the president's low approval rating and the polls that show him trailing former president Donald Trump, the front-runner for the Republican nomination — and in recent weeks, they have grown upset that they are not making more progress."
Of course, Biden's grasp of the polling is correct - Trump has a 2.9 percent lead on Biden in recent polling, according to Real Clear Politics, with Biden only beating the former president in two of the last nine polls. These numbers have to concern Biden since Republicans can typically afford to lose the national popular vote. However, President Biden continuously fails to grapple with the real reason for his decline. Aside from his obvious personal shortcomings, Joe Biden's 'Bidenomics' economic agenda is not working, and the American people can see through the facade.
Under Donald Trump, America was thriving, and that typically happens when our politicians put America and her interests first. However, Joe Biden has been anything but an America First president. His economic agenda has hurt virtually every American group, which is largely why his approval rating is so low. Economics matters, and Bidenomics has been a complete and utter disaster for the American people. As more Americans feel the effects of Biden's policies on their pocketbook, the more they will want Trump to return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
