'God Is Real': Vivek Ramaswamy Releases Ten Fundamental Truths Defining His Presidential Run

On Thursday, 2024 Republican presidential candidate and rising GOP star Vivek Ramaswamy took to the X app to lay out his ten truths for the 2024 race with the first being "God is real."

Ramaswamy, who has made waves in early primary states like New Hampshire where he is beating out Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) in some polls, has been seen by many as being sincere in his beliefs and willing to defend them.

He outlined those beliefs clearly by putting out a ten-point list of what he prioritizes in his presidential campaign:

"1. God is real.
2. There are two genders.
3. Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.
4. Reverse racism is racism.
5. An open border is no border.
6. Parents determine the education of their children.
7. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.
8. Capitalism lifts people up from poverty.
9. There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four.
10. The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history."

Alongside the post to X, Ramaswamy also included a video where he talked about reviving the country and spurring a revolution to "create a government that is accountable to us."

Vivek, who has made his campaign slogan "TRUTH," explained, "I'll tell you something about me alright. You are not going to see me here bashing the other good people who are running in this race. These are our colleagues. I am going to depend on them just as I depend on you to revive this country."

"But we do face a choice in this primary. The choice is this: do you want incremental reform or do you want revolution?" the presidential candidate asked the crowd. "I stand on the side of revolution. I stand on the side of the American Revolution. That we the people create a government that is accountable to us, not the other way around. That we the people require a government that tells us the truth."

"The truth about where Covid-19 came from. The truth about that Hunter Biden laptop. The truth about vaccine mandates, school closures. The truth about the Nashville shooter manifesto. The truth about what is happening in our country today. That is what this campaign is about. We stand for the truth. I speak that truth without apology," Ramaswamy said before naming his ten truths.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Vivek has been surging in some polls with a recent poll from Echelon Insights showing the 38-year-old surging to 15 percent nationally while Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) drops to 12 percent support.

"While Donald Trump remains the frontrunner, Republican voters seeking an alternative candidate are beginning to coalesce around a few top-tier choices. For much of the past year that was Gov. DeSantis, but Vivek Ramaswamy has risen well above expectations and is currently leading the pack of challengers," Sarah Chamberlain, the Republican Main Street Partnership President and CEO said. "Voters are clearly hungry for something new - no group more than the suburban women who often decide elections. If Mr. Ramaswamy, Gov. DeSantis, or any of the other hopefuls want a serious chance at winning the nomination, appealing to those voters should be top priority."

It is clear that Vivek Ramaswamy is offering a new perspective and bringing bold and fresh ideas to the presidential race. His rise, while certainly unexpected, is welcome because of his ability to bring the truth to the national conversation.
