'Twist Everything To Fit Your Repulsive Narrative': Wife Of Jason Aldean Blasts The Media Following 'Try That In A Small Town' Controversy – 'It's The Same Song And Dance'

Brittany Aldean, the wife of country music star Jason Aldean, has been hitting back at those attempting to attack her husband over his latest hit single ‘Try That in a Small Town,’ bashing the media for making unneeded controversies when there were real issues in the world.

“Media … it’s the same song and dance,” Brittany wrote on her Instagram story per Fox News. “Twist everything you can to fit your repulsive narrative. How about instead of creating stories, we focus on the REAL ones such as CHILD TRAFFICKING? Food for thought.”

The wife of Jason Aldean also posted an image on her Instagram account with her and her husband alongside the caption “Never apologize for speaking the truth.”

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the song from the country music singer about how things that take place in large cities would not be able to work in a small town garnered immense criticism from the left. Many claimed that the song pushed a racist agenda and also attacked Aldean for choosing to film the music video at a place where a lynching took place in 1917.

“In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests,” the Twitter post from Aldean read. “These references are not only meritless, but dangerous. There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage -and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far.”

Jason Aldean has also spoken about the controversy at a concert, saying “You can think something all you want to, it doesn’t mean it’s true. Right? So, what I am is a proud American. I’m proud to be from here. I love our country. I want to see it restored to what it once was before this bulls**t started happening to us.”

“I love my country. I love my family and I will do anything to protect that and I can tell you that,” he said at the concert, per the DC Enquirer

This isn’t the first time that Aldean’s wife has made a comment related to the woke agenda, having captioned a makeup video in 2022 with “I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life.”

Jason responded to the Instagram post with “Lmao!! Im glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”

Despite the seemingly negative situation surrounding the controversy, it overall worked quite well for the country music star allowing his song to soar to the number-one spot on iTunes, per the DC Enquirer
