On Thursday, host of 'Tucker on Twitter' Tucker Carlson released a lengthy 45 minute interview with GOP rising star and the youngest presidential candidate in the 2024 field Vivek Ramaswamy.
"Vivek Ramaswamy is the youngest Republican presidential candidate ever," Carlson wrote with the attached interview. "He's worth listening to."
The interview opened with a focus on Vivek's insistence on challenging the dominant narrative with Vivek pointing to his recent comments on 9/11.
The interview then turned to the ongoing economic downturn with the candidate explaining that he expects the economy to go towards a recession within the next year. He added that he believes that a revolution, in the positive sense, is on the horizon.
Tucker then asked Ramaswamy about comments he made about big dollar donors and how he was surprised that his stance on Ukraine turned away many GOP donors, a fact that he found surprising.
Vivek went on to explain that the expansion of NATO has caused Russia to pursue an alliance with China and that his lack of foreign policy experience may actually be an advantage.
He also explained that the United States should focus on achieving semi conductor independence in order to move away from indefinitely being tied to Taiwan given that a future invasion by the People's Republic of China is likely.
Vivek then moved to his idea of reinstating a modern "Monroe Doctrine" in order to defend the homeland and laid out his foreign policy vision.
The conversation then moved to a recent conversation Vivek had with a pansexual reporter in Iowa which went viral earlier this week. The conversation, where Vivek argued that a tyranny of the minority is currently underway in America, showed how he was able to challenge the original combative question.
