BREAKING: Secret Service Open Fire To Protect Biden Family Member

Late Sunday evening, Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Joe Biden's granddaughter, Naomi Biden, opened fire on multiple suspects after there was an attempt to break into an unmarked Secret Service vehicle in Washington, D.C. The incident reportedly took place in the Georgetown neighborhood in D.C. while the 29-year-old was out. Agents saw the suspects attempting to break into the parked vehicle while it was unoccupied.

The potential car thieves were seen breaking the window of the vehicle, leading to one agent opening fire on the group of people. No one was hit, and the suspects fled in a red car, according to a statement released by the Secret Service. Local police put out a bulletin to be on the lookout for the escaping vehicle, per The Associated Press.

"There was no threat to any protectees and the incident is being investigated by the DC Metropolitan Police Department and the Secret Service," the statement released by the service said.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
