BREAKING: Nathan Wade Admits To Paying For Fani Willis' Vacations, Reimbursed With Cash

On Thursday, special prosecutor Nathan Wade took the stand in the evidentiary hearing to determine if Willis would be thrown off the RICO case she brought against 45th President Donald Trump and various other co-defendants.

During his testimony, Wade testified that he paid for various luxury vacations using his business credit card and was then reimbursed with cash by Fani Willis. Wade has claimed that he and Willis paid for the vacations roughly equally; however, he only submitted on receipt proving as much. If he was reimbursed with cash, then there would not be any additional receipts showing that the two split the vacation expenses rather than Wade, who was hired by Willis and given a large salary, being the sole purchaser.

Making matters worse for the couple is testimony from a "good friend" of Willis' who claimed that the relationship with Wade began earlier than what both had claimed to the court. Robin Yeartie, who previously worked in the Fulton County District Attorney's office, told the court that she had no doubt that Willis and Wade were engaged in a romantic relationship beginning in 2019 despite the fact that Willis has claimed that they were only friends at that time. "You have no doubt that their romantic relationship was in effect from 2019 until the last time you spoke with her?" lawyer Ashleigh Merchant asked, to which Yeartie responded, "No doubt."
Yeartie's testimony is terrible news for Willis, who could be facing charges for lying to the court and, at the very least, be thrown off the case that she brought against President Trump.

In the lengthy document submitted to the court last month, Willis admitted to the personal relationship with Wade, which she claimed began in 2022, but argued that the allegations against her are "meritless" and "salacious." She also claimed that no romantic relationship took place in 2019. She went on to argue that the judge should reject any attempt by Trump or the various co-defendants from attempting to get her removed from the case. She also argued that there was no evidence that the relationship between Wade and herself impacted her work.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Nathan Wade's estranged wife, Joycelyn Wade, submitted a document to the Cobb County courthouse showing that the special prosecutor had paid for plane tickets for Fani Willis and himself to San Fransisco and Miami. The submission of the document comes after former Trump aid Michael Roman's lawyer Ashleigh Merchant filed a motion arguing that the duo prosecuting Trump were engaged in a romantic relationship that led to Willis paying him an exorbitant salary to then spend on lavish vacations. The district has paid Wade over $650,000 since he joined the office in November 2021.
