BREAKING: Judge Issues MASSIVE Ruling Against Texas' Efforts To Secure The Border

On Wednesday, a federal judge ordered the state of Texas to move a floating buoy barrier that Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) deployed in the Rio Grande earlier this summer.

According to Just The News, U.S. District Judge David Ezra of Texas ordered the state to move the barrier to the shoreline by September 15th, however, the state is likely to appeal the decision.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, the system of underwater netting, secured by riverbed anchors and held in place by large spherical orange buoys was set up in early July and it immediately faced pushback from the federal and Mexican government.

In response to the ruling, Greg Abbott gave one simple message: "Texas will appeal."

"Texas will appeal. Today's court decision merely prolongs President Biden's willful refusal to acknowledge that Texas is rightfully stepping up to do the job that he should have been doing all along," Abbott said in a statement. "This ruling is incorrect and will be overturned on appeal."

"We will continue to utilize every strategy to secure the border, including deploying Texas National Guard soldiers and Department of Public Safety troopers and installing strategic barriers," he continued. "Our battle to defend Texas' sovereign authority to protect lives from the chaos caused by President Biden's open border policies has only begun."

"Texas is prepared to take this fight all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court," the Texas governor concluded.
