On Monday, Judge Tanya Chutkan made a major decision in Jack Smith's case surrounding the 2020 election against leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the judge decided that Trump's trial will begin on March 4, 2024, just one day before multiple primaries are due to be held.
"Judge Chutkan is a political operative in a robe," Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said about the decision. "We should set her censure for a vote ASAP to expose this sham and restore our republic."

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Chutkan has been "the toughest punisher" of the January 6th prisoners and has been revealed to have deep ties to the Democrat Party.
The judge worked alongside Hunter Biden at the Democrat-connected law firm Boies Schiller Flexner from 2009 to 2014.
The district court judge has also ruled against Trump himself in a previous January 6th related case when she denied Trump's assertion of executive privilege withholding documents from the faux-January 6th Committee.
“Presidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not President,” Chutkan ruled during that hearing and criticized Trump for not owing the proper "deference" to President Biden when he asserted executive privilege.
This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.
