On Monday, former best friend of Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, testified in a closed-door session of the House Oversight Committee where the former Burisma board member outlined how President Biden would regularly be called upon during Hunter's meetings with foreign businessmen.
Following the testimony, Rep Dan Goldman (D-NY) came out to discuss the hearing with reporters in which he explained that President Biden was called by his son during these meetings to introduce them to his associates.
When asked if Archer's testimony contradicts President Biden's claim that he never spoke with his son about his business dealings, Goldman attempted to argue, "I don't know what his comment is and if, if we're gonna, well, I don't, I don't think that's what he said. He never said that he has never spoken to anyone. He said that he had nothing to do with Hunter Biden's business dealings."

In addition to this defense, the Democrat attempted to explain that President Biden and Hunter had daily conversations about his business dealings and that they would allegedly discuss the weather in "casual" conversations with Hunter's business partners.

"It was clear that it was part of the daily conversations that Hunter Biden had with his father. It sounded like most of the time now President Biden didn't even know who the people were at dinner. He was just asked to say hello and he would, you know, talk about the weather," the visibly flustered Democrat claimed.
"The witness was very, very consistent that none of those conversations ever had to do with any business dealings or transactions," Goldman claimed. "They were purely what he called casual conversations."
According to The Daily Mail, the elder Biden was allegedly on more than 20 different phone calls with Hunter and his business partners all of which discused Hunter's business dealings.

While Americans should take Democrat Goldman's words with a grain of salt, it is clear that the Devon Archer testimony spells bad news for President Biden. President Biden repeatedly told the American people that he never spoke with his son about business and yet Archer's testimony directly contradicts that claim. The Democrats are going into damage control and once more information comes out from the House GOP on the full extent of Archer's testimony, the Biden family may be in deep trouble.
