BREAKING: GOP Candidates Tackle Ukraine, Vivek Ramaswamy Gets Hammered On His Foreign Policy Stances

On Wednesday evening, eight Republican presidential candidates took to the stage in Milwaukee for the first GOP presidential debate hosted by Fox News and the Republican National Committee.

The fifth round of question focused on Ukraine where Vivek Ramaswamy was the only candidate willing to say that he would not support increased funding for the war in Ukraine. Vivek blasted the other candidates for visiting Kyiv rather than going to Maui or the south side of Chicago.

Christie, who went to Ukraine earlier this month, explained the horrors of the Ukraine war with Christie warning that if America doesn't take the Russian threat seroiusly then the United States would be next.

Pence then went after Vivek by saying that American can tackle its problems both on the domestic and foreign front. Vivek went after Pence saying that the USSR doesn't exist anymore and that Communist China is the real threat.

After the moderators redefined the rules after multiple interruptions, Vivek, after being booed for his foreign policy stance, emphasized that America needs to put defending the homeland first.

Nikki Haley then was asked her opinion on the matter to which she explained that "a win for Russia is a win for China" and that Ukraine "is the first line of defense for us." Haley went on to attack Vivek for wanting to "defund Israel" and blasted him for his lack of foreign policy experience.

In response Vivek explained that he wants Israel to be a friend rather than a client state and that he admires Israel's domestic policies.

DeSantis then pivoted to focus on domestic policy and defending the homeland to ensure that troops are sent to the southern border and leave drug smugglers "stone cold dead."

During the debate, leading 2024 Republican candidate and 45th President Donald Trump joined former Fox News host Tucker Carlson instead of joining the debate stage.
