BREAKING: Embattled Harvard President Claudine Gay Makes MAJOR Announcement

On Tuesday, Harvard President Claudine Gay resigned from her position after weeks of turmoil in Cambridge, Massachusetts, following her testimony before Congress about growing anti-Semitism on campus and her own personal scandal involving widespread plagiarism in academic papers. Gay's resignation makes her the shortest-serving president in the university's history, and as of this report, it is unclear who will be appointed to replace her.

President Gay's announcement comes after being in office a little over six months and is after the university's highest governing body, The Corporation, announced their full support of Gay to retain the presidency. Despite this endorsement, however, it appears that Gay will be stepping down after backlash from many in the corporate media and students themselves following her repeated mistakes, as reported by The Harvard Crimson.

During her congressional testimony last month, Gay said that university students who chant genocidal slogans would not be breaking school codes of conduct based on the "context" of their speech. Gay has also been accused of extensive plagiarism by journalist Christopher Rufo, a fact that has been reportedly known since October but has only recently come into the public eye.

"It is with a heavy heart but a deep love for Harvard that I write to share that I will be stepping down as president," the embattled Dr. Gay wrote to the Harvard community.
