Failed Texas Democrat Senate and Presidential Candidate Robert Francis ‘Beto’ O’Rourke just made a fool of himself in a press conference with Gregg Abbott. Gregg Abbott hosted a panel to discuss the tragic shooting that occurred in Uvalde yesterday.
This is a moment for unity, not division, as we fight against the forces of evil. But Beto, ever the opportunist, did not let the tragedy go to waste. The Democrat candidate for the governor’s race in November interrupted the presser, only to be escorted out by law enforcement. The panel roared in anger, including Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin, who called Beto a “sick son of a b****”.
He was completely correct to do so. Only Beto would exploit this moment for political purposes. That was uncalled for and morally wrong.
