BREAKING: Anti-Gun Protesters Storm Tennessee Capitol Following Nashville Shooting

On Thursday, anti-gun protesters stormed the Nashville, Tennessee Capitol building following the mass shooting at Covenant Elementary School on Monday.

Hundreds of protesters occupied the capitol and demanded that legislators take action to ban weapons protected under the Second Amendment.

Protesters demanded that legislators “do something” with one protester yelling at a lawmaker, “Red flag laws! One thing you can do, representative. One thing you can do,” as reported by the Tennessean.

“No action, no peace!” yelled a number of protesters who began to occupy the legislative chambers thus disrupting the democratic process in the state Capitol.

The crowd was mainly made up of young people and students from local high schools and colleges.

WATCH: MULTIPLE ARRESTS MADE AS TRANS PROTESTERS STORM KENTUCKY CAPITOL

A similar storming took place Wednesday in neighboring Kentucky after the legislature passed sweeping legislation to ban ‘gender reassignment’ surgeries for minors.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, as the Kentucky legislature considered passing the legislation, protesters occupied the Capitol building leading to multiple arrests, according to the Lewiston Tribune.

Police initially struggled to apprehend the protesters to escort them from the building, however, about half an hour later they used zip ties to lead the protesters out of the Capitol.

With two instances of protesters storming the state capitols of Republican-led states in the past two days, it is clear that those on the left are getting bolder and are willing to disrupt the democratic process in order to ensure that their demands are met.
