On Wednesday, it was revealed that Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) has launched a rescue mission to Israel following the devastating Hamas terrorist attack that took place over the weekend which resulted in the murder of over 1,200 Israeli and 22 American citizens.
According to The Florida Press, Mills, a veteran of the US Army, flew to the embattled Middle East democracy to aid Israelis and help rescue 32 Americans. Mills told the outlet that despite his best efforts, there are still "hundreds" of Americans still trapped in the country.
The congressman explained that “helping and showing solidarity with our Israeli brethren and helping Americans evacuate” following the terrorist attack was something that he felt compelled to do.

Before Mills was elected to Congress in 2022, he and a team of military contractors helped to rescue an American family stranded in Afghanistan after the Biden administration's botched withdrawal from the country.
