George Santos (R-NY) after the New York lawmaker was revealed to have lied to his constituents about his past and following an ethics investigation that found that he broke a number of federal laws. Santos is currently under investigation by the Department of Justice for defrauding his donors and the Republican Party. He has been charged with multiple criminal counts, including identity theft, theft of public funds, and money laundering related to campaign donations.
