Treasury Goes on Offense Against Organized Chaos

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told host Jack Posobiec that the Treasury Department has already begun using federal financial authorities to trace and expose the money behind left‑wing agitators who have been blocking law enforcement and carrying out “human blockades” and other disruptive actions in cities like Minneapolis. Bessent didn’t mince words — these aren’t random protestors, these are organized, well‑funded operations that are threatening public safety.

Bessent explained that patterns of coordinated behavior — such as matching gear and weapons — point to serious funding and organizational structures behind these groups. That means dollars flowing into outfits that enable chaos, not help citizens.

Following the Money, Making Arrests

Unlike weak policy pronouncements, the Treasury isn’t just talking. Bessent highlighted two powerful tools:

  • Financial Crimes Enforcement Network — tasked with tracing financial trails and uncovering hidden flows of cash fueling unrest.
  • IRS Criminal Investigators — federal agents who can dig into financial fraud and make arrests in the field.

Bessent emphasized that these investigators are equipped and empowered to pursue bad actors wherever they hide — whether through shell companies, nonprofits, or dummy LLCs. These groups have turned “relief and aid” mechanisms into operations that skim money and funnel it into anti‑American activism.

Exposing Political Cover and Illegal Funnels

Posobiec raised the possibility — confirmed by evidence citizen journalists have uncovered — that some of these activist networks may be entangled with nonprofits or front organizations that look legitimate on paper but funnel millions into political chaos. According to Bessent, it’s not just loose money on the streets — it’s structured like a business with people trained to set up legal entities designed to obscure donations and spending.

Bessent put it bluntly: what was once intended to help communities has been perverted into businesses that skim funds and end up financing political warfare — and too often that money circles back into the coffers of the Democratic machine.

A Real Investigation for a Real Threat

For years, conservatives have watched lawless mobs wreak havoc, with elites in government and media throwing up their hands or even cheering on the violence. Now, the Treasury is turning that around. By using financial tools to investigate who actually pays for the chaos, the administration is signaling a long overdue crackdown on the economic engine that keeps these violent networks alive.

Americans deserve transparency — and accountability. With Bessent leading a hard charge to follow the funding, radical activists who have harmed our cities and undermined the rule of law will finally face scrutiny for how they bankroll their campaigns of disorder.
