A former elementary school teacher in Washington state—who once publicly smeared Republicans by calling them "pedophiles"—is now facing multiple charges of child molestation. The accusations have sent shockwaves through the Gig Harbor community and reveal the disturbing hypocrisy of far-left activists who project their own corruption onto political opponents.
Jordan Henderson, 34, worked at Evergreen Elementary School and also served as a worship leader in his local church. He was arrested after multiple young students accused him of inappropriate sexual contact during class time. Prosecutors charged him with 12 counts of first-degree child molestation, all involving children under the age of 12.
What makes the case even more outrageous is Henderson’s past social media activity, where he labeled Republicans “pedophiles” and accused them of targeting children. That statement has come back to haunt him as his own criminal behavior comes to light—demonstrating the kind of projection and moral rot that too often hides behind virtue-signaling activism.
The investigation revealed that Henderson’s abuse had allegedly gone on for years before students came forward. Parents and community members expressed outrage that such a predator was allowed to operate in a school setting without earlier intervention. According to reports, he used his position of authority and trust to gain access to vulnerable children.
Following his arrest, Henderson was initially released on bail under strict conditions, including having no contact with minors. However, he allegedly violated those terms, leading to his re-arrest and a higher bond.
A jury found Henderson guilty on 12 out of 13 counts, also ruling that he used his position of trust to commit the abuse. He now awaits sentencing, with many in the community demanding a full accounting of how this was allowed to happen—and how the school system failed to protect its students.
This case is a sobering reminder that political posturing doesn’t equate to moral integrity. It also highlights the critical importance of vigilance in our schools and the need for parents and communities to hold institutions accountable.
